Marsell builds a landing page for each offer, with one offer and one thing for visitors to do, and hosts it for you. If you have no website, it can build and host one. Nothing goes live until you say yes. Live pages are measured on the page itself, without cookies, and Marsell looks at each one every day to see what would make it do better.

Where your pages live

Each project gets its own address: https://yourbusiness.marsell.site/. Each landing page has a path of its own under it, such as https://yourbusiness.marsell.site/spring-tour/.
  • If you have a working website, your marsell.site address holds only landing pages, and its home address sends visitors on to your own site.
  • If you have no website, Marsell can build one when the plan calls for it and host it at that address.
Landing pages are kept out of search engines: they’re for the posts, emails and ads that link to them.

Make a page

The plan asks for pages when a week needs one. Next page I’d make, under your pages in Sell, says which offer is next and why.
1

Pick the offer (optional)

What you sell lists your offers, each marked Live page, Has a page, Next or Make its page. Press one to make it the next page.
2

Choose one version or two

Turn on Make two versions and test them to start with a test.
3

Make it

Press Make this page, with its ceiling: up to 12,000 tokens. Nothing goes live until you say yes.
The page shows Being made while Marsell builds it, and its card comes to What needs you when it’s ready.

Publish a page

The card shows the page as it looks on a laptop and a phone, what it does (such as Gets sign-ups, Books demos or Sells one product), its button or form, and anything the checks found. Choose:
  • Publish it (Publish the landing page, or Publish and start the test for two versions);
  • Ask for changes, and say what should change, such as “The price bigger, the button higher, a warmer picture first…”. Marsell builds a new version and brings it back;
  • Keep the draft.
Your website comes on the same kind of card, with Publish the site. When a page is already live, the live version stays until you publish the new one.
Publishing makes the page public at its address straight away. Click the picture on the card first to open the preview.

Pause, put back or retire

Each page shows where it stands: Being made, Waiting for your yes, Live, Live · testing two versions, Paused, Draft or Retired.
  • Pause a live page: visitors see “Taking a short break”.
  • Put it back live when it’s paused.
  • Retire a draft: “It stops taking visitors and is not built again.” Pause a live page before you retire it.
Your website can be paused and put back the same way.

A sign-up page

If no page asks for an email yet, Sell says “Nobody can sign up yet” and offers Make a sign-up page: one email box, written from your confirmed facts. It comes to you with Make it live or Not now. Once it’s live, the emails you approved go to everyone who signs up. See Emails and replies.

See how a page is doing

Each live page shows its last 30 days: visitors, the share who did its one thing (such as “signed up” or pressed its button), a line of visitors by day, and any test running. The numbers are counted on the page itself, without cookies or personal data, and bot visits are left out.

How Marsell improves your pages

Once a day, Marsell looks at each live page and picks one next step: change nothing, wait for more visitors, fix the page, test a change, call a test, or get more people there. The page’s card says what it will do next.
  • Tests. A test changes one thing and splits visitors half and half between the live page and a new version. It needs at least 100 visitors per version and runs at least a week. The numbers call the winner, and everyone then sees it.
  • New versions. A fix or a test version is built like any page and comes to you to publish, unless you’ve let Marsell publish pages on its own (see What needs you).
  • Too few visitors. Marsell may ask to send people to the page with posts or a small ad test. The posts and ads then ask you in the usual way.

What pages cost

A page uses up to 12,000 tokens to build, and asking for changes up to 12,000 more. Building needs about 3,000 tokens left to start. Marsell’s daily looks are small. See Marsell plans and tokens.
