> ## Agent Instructions
> Marsell's MCP server is at https://getmarsell.com/mcp: agents connect with a key the owner makes in the app (a project's Agents page, Your own AI). See /developers/mcp for its tools. There is no public REST API yet; don't suggest REST endpoints.
> The search MCP server at https://docs.getmarsell.com/mcp only searches these docs. It can't read or change anyone's Marsell projects.
> Each business is a project with seven places: Home, Create, Market, Sell, People, Agents and Brand. 'Marsell plan' means the subscription (Solo, Core, Growth, Network); 'the plan' or 'the week' means the work Marsell has planned.
> Tokens are Marsell's unit for AI and media work, granted monthly by the Marsell plan. They are not model tokens.

# Projects

> One Marsell account runs several projects, each a business with its own Home, brand and work. How to add one, switch between them, and how projects share your plan.

A project is one business Marsell markets and sells for: a shop, an app, a practice, a channel. Each project has its own Home, its own week, its own brand, its own connected accounts and its own work. Your account holds every project, and they share your Marsell plan's tokens.

## Switch between projects

The project you're in shows at the top left, next to Marsell. Click it to open **Your projects**: each project with its logo and its link, and a tick on the one you're in. Click another to switch. The app opens that project's Home, and every place from then on is that project's.

## Add a project

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the switcher">
    Click the project name at the top left.
  </Step>

  <Step title="New project">
    Click **New project**, "Paste any link: Marsell takes a first look for free".
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set it up">
    The same setup as your first project runs: the first look, what Marsell would do, the careful read and your check. See [Set up a project](/setup).
  </Step>
</Steps>

The new project gets its own **Before Marsell starts** card on Home. Nothing runs for it until you start it.

## What projects share, and what they don't

| Shared across your projects | Each project's own |
| - | - |
| Your Marsell plan and its tokens | Home, the week and what needs you |
| The count of social connections your plan includes | Its brand: facts, voice, look, logo and files |
| Your sign-in, and your team in an organisation | Its connected accounts. An account connected for one project never posts for another |
| | Its work: pictures, films, pages, posts and people |

Marsell paces the plan's tokens over the month across all your projects.

## How many projects your plan runs

| | Solo | Core | Growth | Network |
| - | - | - | - | - |
| Running projects | 1 | 3 | 10 | Unlimited |

A show you run counts as a project. When you reach your plan's number, Marsell says so when you save a new project: free a project or change your plan first. See [Marsell plans and tokens](/account/plans-and-tokens).

## Projects in an organisation

An organisation is a separate account with its own projects, plan and tokens. Nothing moves between your personal account and an organisation. See [Team](/account/team).
